Everyday, since we opened our doors in 2016, we take great care to ensure good hand hygiene is practiced by both employees and participants. Our direct care staff are nurses, CNAs, and nursing assistants who have been trained in the cleaning and disinfection requirements specified by the Virginia Department of Social Services and state regulations. We have always taken pride in maintaining sanitary conditions for your loved ones, regularly wiping down tables and other high-touch surfaces.
We will continue to follow our infection control protocols and make changes to them as necessary. Our Executive Director holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is adjunct faculty in the School of Nursing at Radford University. You can rest assured that she has the expertise to lead PADS in best practices for infection control while considering the needs of the participants.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the safety of you or your loved one at Pulaski Adult Day Service.
PADS is reopening after being closed for about a year due to COVID-19. At this time, all employees, participants, and guests are required to wear masks when in the facility unless eating or drinking. Please contact the Executive Director if you are unable to wear a mask.
Our hearts and prayers go out to all those who have lost loved ones or suffered in other ways due to COVID-19
